RGB/Videolink(R) 1500 Series [RGB Spectrum]

The RGB/Videolink 1500 series video scan converters transform computergraphics to television format (NTSC or PAL) in real time. This allowsrecording of computer graphics on any ordinary video tape recorder andconnection to video projectors, teleconferencing systems and compositemonitors. The RGB/Videolink synchronizes to any computer RGB signal witha horizontal scan rate from 15.0 - 90.0 kHz interlaced or non-interlaced.The RGB/Videolink analyzes the input signal from any computer up to 1280x 1024 pixel screen resolution, and automatically synchronizes to it. TheRGB inputs are digitized, filtered, "down converted," and buffered in aframe store. The digitized image is then converted to analog RGB signalsat video resolution and encoded into NTSC RS-170A (or PAL CCIR standard)composite video. S-Video and RGB outputs at video resolution are alsoprovided. Complete conversion and encoding are accomplished in real time.The RGB/Videolink is easily installed using video cables. Loop-throughconnectors are provided on all inputs; installation does not interferewith normal operation of the computer or its monitor. Genlock isstandard. An overlay/mixing channel is available with the model 1500AX.
